One Life Incorporated is a family and community based nonprofit organization dedicated to improving
communities of color (African-Americans, Jamaicans, Haitians, Africans, etc). Through programs initiated
through our five tenets: Educational Awareness, Financial Awareness, Mental Awareness,
Physical Awareness, and Spiritual Awareness. This organization seeks to propel ethnic minorities
to the forefront of all aspects of life.
We envision a Black race that is very much self-supportive. Within the working sector, we seek to have
more Blacks managing their own businesses successfully and fulfilling more leadership positions in the
corporate world. Educationally, One Life's goals are to push for more minorities to complete
undergraduate and graduate studies and to help support adults who want to finish or continue their
education. In our communities, we envision neighborhoods with higher property values and less crime.
Through our youth division, H.A.P.P.Y., we take the responsibility of aiding in the development of a
society where our children will be eager to learn, feel secure about their culture and potential, and embrace
the positivity in each other instead of feeding off the negativity that has been produced by our society.
One Life is dedicated to improving every aspect of the community. We believe that as African- Americans
and people of color, we should take charge of our own empowerment, leading the way of initiating change
within our own communities. Because of this ideology, One Life focuses on such areas as teen pregnancy
prevention, credit repair, physical health, tutoring and mentoring, art education, and character
development. Many of our presentations and seminars take place at community centers, churches,
conferences, libraries, fairs, and other places of interest.
It only takes ONE person, ONE LIFE, to make a difference, and when combined with hundreds of thousands of others, TOGETHER WE CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS!
