One Life, Incorporated, is a phenomenal organization that is making changes
in the Black community. Established in 2003, it has been embraced by all
and experienced a whirlwind of support almost beyond control.
What exactly is One Life? One Life is an organization that evolves as the
needs of the people change. Initiating programs through its five tenets
(Educational Awareness, Financial Awareness, Mental Awareness, Physical
Awareness, and Spiritual Awareness), we seek to help support a community
that realizes its full potential and devises a plan for continued success. Our
goal is to channel knowledge to those who are thirsty and give guidance to
those who may have lost their sense of direction. With the motto of "One
Village, One Voice, One Victory," we understand that together, as a united
body, we can move mountains!
To date, our programs have included support for small Black businesses and
artists, tutoring, health and community fairs, youth development programs,
participation in the Hurricane Katrina Relief efforts, and more!
So the question in not, "What is One Life?" but "What can One Life do for
you?"
